Our Infant Program

Our infant room provides nurturing and loving care to infants age 6 weeks to 18 months. We have an area where infants can grow and develop and safely explore the room around them.

Infant Room Happenings

Infants are constantly learning. We encourage social, cognitive, large and fine motor development milestones through play and repetition and they love exploring with their hands and mouth. Activities in the infant room include but aren’t limited to:

• Feeding and closely monitored sleeping time
• Floor and large muscle activity and exploration
• Songs and rhythm
• Playing with puppets
• Reading books
• 2 Outdoor Sessions, weather permitting

Parents are responsible for supplying diapers and wipes. Diapers are checked and changed every 2 hours. Infants follow their own bottle feeding and sleeping schedules. Safety of your infant is top priority. Toys are developmentally appropriate and sanitized.

Our Toddler Program

Children age 18 month through 3 years are in the toddler program. Toddlers love to move and discover the world around them. Curiosity abounds and they love to explore while feeling safe and nurtured. Our teachers are constantly mindful of their health and safety.

Toddler Room Happenings

We provide a room and environment with enriching, age appropriate materials that stimulate creativity, problem solving, independence, and curiosity of their environment. Activities include:

• Meals and Snacks
• Diapering/Toileting/Hand Washing
• Nap/Quiet Time
• Puzzles, Game Tables
• Painting, Music, Art
• Small Group Socialization
• Creative play including water tables, sensory, math and science
• Indoor and Outdoor running, kicking, dancing and climbing
• Book and story time

Our Preshool/Pre K Program

The Angel Academy Learning Center has an excellent Preschool Program for children ages 3 through 5. We understand the importance of getting your child ready for kindergarten.

Preschool Room Happenings

Children learn best when they are in a type of play that interest them. Children can locate and use materials of their particular interest from distinct areas, such as the block, art, housekeeping, manipulative, language, and music and science areas. The adult’s role is to create and stimulate the natural curiosity of the children and to provide the variety of materials, people, and experiences required to meet the needs of children individually. Loving adults encourage them to listen, speak, touch, take apart, put together, mold, paint, and compute through a range of activities which enables all children to feel successful.

Child’s choice group play and open learning centers with areas of:

• Language development
• Reading readiness
• Number and letter recognition
• Math readiness
• Problem solving & decision making
• Music and art
• Creative thinking

Our School Age Program

Our school age program offers your child before & after school care for children ages 5 through 12. Our program is a home away from home that gives your child a comfortable and nurturing environment before and after school.

We are much more than just a safe environment with adult supervision. We promote positive social interaction and help teach life skills. Activities your child will experience but not limited to:

• Homework time and assistance
• Club time and project work
• Outdoor play
• Breakfast along with nutritious snack after school
• Free choice time involving art, music, math, science, nature, etc
